We only use the Grapes from our Land!
The Kandea vineyards extend over approximately 20 hectarea at an altitude of 250 metres above sea level in a land that has always been bounteous, the “Terra di Mezzo” in between-land. The soils here are exceptionally rich, being a repository of the mineral wealth of Mount Vulture and the mountains of Irpinia and Samnium, accrued in water run-off over centuries.
The “Terra di Mezzo” is a unique borderland, ideal for the production of wines of excellence, where the tumultuos meetings of the warm Apulian winds and cold winds from Irpinia cause sudden variations in temperature. This is just one of the many characteristics of this land that endow the grapes from KANDEA vineyards with their exceptionally distinctive and harmonious aromas and flavours.
