The Falcon crest og our company comes from the great love of this lands shown by Frederick II of Swabia, know as “Stupor Mundi”
“…if our Lord had known this plain in Apulia, light of my eyes, he would have stayed here to live!” (Frederick II of Swabia)
It is said Frederick loved to cross the immense sweeping landscapes on horseback, riding across our lands to the winery as he hunted with a falcon on his wrist. We still proudly possess the rock used to mark the boundary of his estate, engraved with the falcon from his coat of arms.
